the Forest Game

Today was raining in Cabella, and the Green team lead a game called: "the Forest Game".
We ask to the children to chose one living being both from vegetal than animal world, to be represented. All of them chosen to be trees, squirrel, fox, frog etc. Than we gave to the first child, the tree, to start the story with a rope in the hand. "I am the tree and I like the birds on my branches" and passed the rope to the child/bird, that continued the story, making a nice tale. All of them was part of the tale and passing the rope among them they create a strong net. When all the children was connected with the rope, they all felt to be one, part of the same system, and that system very strong. They could feel themselves through the net connection, as an experience. Than we start rewinding the tale, saying "now we cut the tree", and the child/tree left the rope, than the bird, and all the others one by one. They could feel the system became weaker and weaker. At the end all of them was on the ground and we finish the game. But they could feel that a forest is strong when all the part of it are healthy and strong, and they all are needed as a part of the all. And the forest is an example of Mother Nature.
