We ask to the children to chose one living being both from vegetal than animal world, to be represented. All of them chosen to be trees, squirrel, fox, frog etc. Than we gave to the first child, the tree, to start the story with a rope in the hand. "I am the tree and I like the birds on my branches" and passed the rope to the child/bird, that continued the story, making a nice tale. All of them was part of the tale and passing the rope among them they create a strong net. When all the children was connected with the rope, they all felt to be one, part of the same system, and that system very strong. They could feel themselves through the net connection, as an experience. Than we start rewinding the tale, saying "now we cut the tree", and the child/tree left the rope, than the bird, and all the others one by one. They could feel the system became weaker and weaker. At the end all of them was on the ground and we finish the game. But they could feel that a forest is strong when all the part of it are healthy and strong, and they all are needed as a part of the all. And the forest is an example of Mother Nature.
We are the Green Team of Cabella. We are working to rise the awareness of the yogis to an higher respect of Mother Earth as Bhoomi Devi.

The Gardening Class
The Green Team has been invited by the principle of the Cabella Sahaj School to lead a Class of gardening to the children. This gave us a great pleasure and a great responsibility because we feel very important that our little angels grown up with consciousness about our Mother Earth. So thank to the fact that aunty Senny, who is teaching nature in the Dharamsala School, was in Italy for some time, we made a program and we start to have class with the little (class1, 2 and 3) at the green areas around the Castle, every saturday. It was very touching have such group of angels, and teach them about Mother Earth, about the soil, about what is inside the ground, starting from the living principle of Shri Bhoomi Devi. They were very attentive and very happy to stay in the outdoor, touching the earth with their own little hands, and they felt the vibration of the ground. We are very happy too, and let's pray our humble contribute can help in grow this new generation of human being with an higher awareness of our environment and ourselves as a part of Mother Earth.

Evolution of the Green team
Evolution of the Green team
On an international level within our sanga there has been a move to creating a Green team, this is seen as our outer movement for social, cultural and environmental security. Expression and understanding within sahaja yoga of what can be seen as inner resources or inviroment has been in progress for over 40 years, now we are becoming known as the yogis that bring self development. We provide this in our many systems of expression all of which give people the chance to gain spiritual experience. Nature offers this by providing it's natural capital through it's infinite beauty. As we are nature itself we are at our best when we are in balance with nature through mental, emotional and physical harmony so through development in ourselves we have come across different systems to fix the world. We know through meditation and getting into the sahasra we gain connection to the universal mother and our true nature is not just found but the whole universe starts working out through our harmony.
Are there other ways we can find the seekers of Truth.
Now the Green team has been working extensively to bring together ways that without pain or insecurity we can share our skills to build a sustainable future thats gives us a chance to not just help on a social and environmental level but bring in the seekers of truth, many of these seekers have been bringing benefits to others similar to what sahaja yogis bring to the world. Through raising the vibrations of this world to levels we truly understand but that gets lost in translation. There are so many great people in this world who are not ready to come into the inner ring of Sahaj to work with us, but just like us they have found ways to help the world and many are one with mother and doing great work but they don't know how to found the sahaja yoga family. Humans look at things on face value most of the time and many are so business they miss out and never come to a meeting due to not needing to. We are founding that as we grow in Sahaj our real strong brothers and sisters in this world are not in such need of finding out about the technics of sahaja. Maybe we still need to find the right approach, if we did they would be the first to say "what great work sahaja yoga has done in pulling together such a family"
What does the Green team mean
Green = Eco. Eco = Sahaj. Green sahaj is the outer expression of the inner development that Sahaja yoga brings to this world. The Green team is made up of a small team who understands sustainable systems that bring together ethical structures to help on many levels from health to education from all areas of social and environmental values. The goals are to found ways to share skills, create opportunities to work in teams for our outer expression and to social network with our family, and to be more away of caring for the needs of others, species of the world and the environment. Sustainability is a complex area to bring through to sahaja yoga as it is used by everyone in the world now. we need to talk about it as it is part of the way we deal with our transition. There is a Transitional period we need to go through and this is a great chance for us to be more collective and share out knowledge and skills. No world groups has such human resource, such cultural heritage, such a perfect gender imbalance to learn to respect and 110 different countries with a number of different backgrounds to work with.
Where does this start and who can help
If there was a list of the human capital needed in building a green team the list would go off the page, what is important though is to understand that there is room for an ever-evolving growth. We intend to take this chance to offer theses who relate to this field to put themselves forward, to help in the steps for us to start being more pro active in the area of social ane environmental and sustainable development. All of this work is close to starting a sustainable business but will be dealing with how we can be more efficient and will include ways we can gain finance from grants given to social groups who's aims provide human well being. There is a wall of money out there for groups like ours. One way we can get funding to build and grow
in our standards we need to build more professional groups and through the green team we can advice of how to run an ethical green community enterprise where funding will go back into the development of the project. The green team can advice groups into how to go about presenting projects and services, but we could also do with additional consultancy in social enterprises, charity and community work.
Our first projects
Any normal non-profit organisation needs to be self financing and the whole of sahaja yoga knows that Cabella needs a lot of income to keep it running. So as one of the first Green team projects we have been given advice from sahaj yogis who are specialists in renewable energy and energy efficiency, and we have manage to found a yogi from austria who
will be running an education-led workshop providing knowledge in the more know field of sustainability know at solar power. The course will provide green job skills in solar, Plumbing and some electric skills. This will be firstly offered to Yuva Shaktis and we hope that parents will be very supportive in this as the workshop will have at least 1 hour a day study as well as whole day of practical. This level of course will be offered with a certificate through the foundation and all profits will go back into building a green valley. Once this system is up and running (Give further details of the system) it will be the first steps towards a self sufficient Cabella. This transitional period is being used throughout the world and we are lucky to be able to share our skills and provide a detailed video with certificate to those who come along to the workshop. We will aim to continue to develop additional ways we can offer such workshops and wish to work with other yogis who might wish to offer such course.
